For example, US companies are obliged to hand over personal data to security authorities without you as the data subject being able to take legal action against this. 5. Web Analytics

Microsoft Clarity

This website uses Microsoft Clarity, a web analytics service provided by Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052, USA ("Microsoft").

We use Clarity to understand how this website is actually used: which sections are read, where visitors click and scroll, and where a page is confusing. To do this, Clarity records your interactions with the site — mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, keyboard interaction, window and screen size, browser and operating system — together with the content of the pages you view. Microsoft aggregates these recordings into heatmaps and into individual session recordings that we can replay. Clarity does not ask you for your name, email address, or any other direct identifier, and we do not use it to identify you personally.

Legal Basis

Clarity is loaded only after you have actively consented to it in our consent banner. Until you consent, no Clarity script is loaded, no connection to a Microsoft server is made, and no cookie is set. The legal basis for storing information on, and reading information from, your device is § 25 para. 1 TDDDG; the legal basis for the subsequent processing of your personal data is your consent under Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future — see "Withdrawing Your Consent" below.

Declining has no consequences for you: the website works identically either way, and nothing else on this site depends on your choice.

Cookies and Session Storage Set by Clarity

Once you have consented, Clarity stores the following entries for pkrason.de. None of them contains your name, your email address, or any other information that identifies you directly; they hold randomly generated identifiers plus technical values such as a timestamp and a counter.

_clck — stores a randomly generated Clarity user ID so that repeat visits from the same browser can be recognised. Lifetime: 365 days.
_clsk — links the pages you view during one visit into a single session recording. Lifetime: 1 day.
_cltk — stored in your browser's session storage (not as a cookie); holds a random token for the current browsing session and is discarded when you close the tab. Deleted when you withdraw your consent.

We have configured Clarity so that it does not grant Microsoft's advertising storage. It therefore does not set advertising cookies and does not link your visit to a Microsoft advertising profile. If you decline, or withdraw your consent, none of these entries is stored, and any existing copy is deleted.

Independently of your choice, we store your consent decision itself in your browser's local storage under the key pk-consent-analytics, so that we do not have to ask you again on every page. The entry holds three values separated by colons: your decision (granted or denied), a version number that ties your decision to the description of Microsoft Clarity given above, and the time at which you made it, as a Unix timestamp in milliseconds. It is never transmitted anywhere, and storing and reading it is strictly necessary to provide the function you requested — to honour your decision without asking you again (§ 25 para. 2 no. 2 TDDDG). We rely on it for at most 365 days, and only for the version it was given against: once it is older than that, or once we have changed what Clarity collects or where it is transmitted and raised the version number accordingly, it stops counting as an answer — the banner asks you again, and until you answer, Clarity is not loaded and nothing is sent. This time limit applies to a refusal in exactly the same way as to a consent. An entry that has stopped counting is not deleted automatically; it is replaced as soon as you answer again, and you can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Data Transfer to the USA

If you consent, the recorded data is transmitted to servers operated by Microsoft under the domain clarity.ms and may be processed in the United States. Microsoft Corporation is based in the USA, which is a third country within the meaning of the GDPR. Please also read the general note in the section "Note on Data Transfer to the USA and Other Third Countries" above.

Withdrawing Your Consent

You can withdraw your consent to Microsoft Clarity at any time, with effect for the future. While your consent is in effect in this browser, this section shows a button labelled "Withdraw consent to Microsoft Clarity": it switches Clarity off, deletes the Clarity cookies and Clarity's session entry, and reloads this page so that Clarity is not loaded again. Your current status is shown below. One last transmission of what was already recorded during this page view may still reach Microsoft at the moment you withdraw; after the reload, nothing further is sent.

You can also delete the cookies at any time in your browser settings, or prevent them from being stored in the first place. Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing that took place before you withdrew it (Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR).
